Emerald engagement ring settings

The emerald cut is a rectangular step cut with long parallel facets, creating flashes of light and a calm "hall of mirrors" look rather than sparkle. Emerald cuts are made for clean solitaires, bezels and three-stone designs with tapered baguette or trapezoid side stones.

Band width & prongs

Basket prongs hold the diamond low and secure; tulip prongs open like petals; cathedral shoulders arch up to lift the diamond; a bezel wraps it in a smooth rim of gold with no prongs to catch. Setting prices are for size 6 in the gold colour selected, excluding the centre diamond.
