How to find a ring size in secret
Planning a surprise? Here are practical ways to get the size right without giving the game away.
- Borrow a ring she already wears on that finger (or the same finger on the other hand) and measure its inside diameter in millimetres. Our ring size guide converts it to a size.
- Trace the inside of a ring on paper, or press it into a bar of soap, and bring the outline to a consultation.
- Ask someone close to her: a sister or best friend may know, or can find out naturally.
- If unsure, size up slightly. A ring that is a little large can be worn safely until it is resized; a ring that is too small cannot be worn at all.
You can also choose “Not sure yet” when designing your ring and we will confirm the size with you before making it. Resizing is complimentary within the first year.
